What Will I Need?
You need four things to get started in the application process:
- Application: Download, complete, and send in this application.
- Passport: Please send to the VWM office via U.S. mail in a secured padded envelope to avoid theft. If you don't already have a passport, apply for one immediately. The passport application process can take 6-8 weeks to complete, so the sooner you start, the better. Contact your local courthouse for information on how to get one or visit national passport center at: www.travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html
- Vaccinations: Check with your doctor or call or contact the Centers for Disease Control to find out which immunizations are necessary. Click here to see the CDC website.
- Payment: There is a $100 non-refundable application fee. After being accepted, we allow the full payment to be made in up to 4 equally divided payments.
