Ron and Jill both graduated from college in 1968 and married shortly after. Ron was a businessman for eleven years selling computers for a large international corporation. In 1976 both he and Jill received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and three years later attended Bible school and entered the ministry. They were assistant pastors at Victory Christian Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ron directed Victory Bible Institute for two years. In 1984 they moved to the small, rural town of Waverly, Missouri where they founded and pastored Victory Christian Fellowship until 1992. They then turned the church over to their associate pastor and moved to St. Petersburg, Russia. Ron directed Victory Bible Institute - St. Petersburg and trained Russian pastors. Jill taught in the Bible school and wrote curriculum outlines for all the courses.

In 1995 they went to Cluj-Napoca, Romania and established Faith Family Bible School. While there, they wrote a manual on how to start Bible schools to help others be able to start their own Bible schools both on the foreign field and in the United States. In 1996 they partnered with Victory Christian Center in Tulsa and have helped start 500 Bible schools in over 86 nations by training directors, supplying manuals and curriculum and helping secure short-term and long-term missionary teachers.
